**READY FOR AN ADVENTURE WITH A DIFFERENCE?** Join us from 28-31 August 2026 for a weekend in Wales filled with unique experiences—swimming, walking, and even participating in the annual Bog Snorkelling Championships! At Swimories, we specialize in creating unforgettable swimming memories while ensuring your safety as a qualified Open Water Swim Coach and RLSS certified Lifeguard. Don't miss this chance to explore the extraordinary! EVERYONE IS WELCOME EVEN IF THEY DON'T WISH TO ENTER THE CHAMPIONSHIPS BUT WANT A WEEKEND OF DIPPING IN BEAUTIFUL SPOTS Friday - Arrive at the accommodation in the afternoon and then go for the first of our swims following by a BBQ or home cooked meal. Saturday - Two swims in the local area. There are local restaurants/takeaways that can be be booked for your evening meal if you do not wish to cook at the cottage. Sunday - Catch the minibus to the Bog snorkelling field and enjoy the most wonderfully whacky day out. The event takes place at Waen Rydd bog on the outskirts of the town, getting underway at about 10am. There are food and drink stalls, crafts, live music and a real ale and cider bar on the site, so it's a great day out even if you don't fancy taking the plunge. Monday - Travel home. 8 spaces available What's included: 3 nights accommodation, options below: Cottage one: Room 1 (2 single beds), Room 2 (1 double bed) Cottage two: Room 1 (2 single beds), Room 2 (1 double bed) - Note: If only one person occupies the double bed in either cottage, there's an additional £50 single occupant charge.
