READY FOR AN ADVENTURE WITH A DIFFERENCE, TRY A WEEKEND SWIMMING AND BOG SNORKELLING? 22 August 2025 - 25 August 2025 Fancy a muddy weekend away doing something truly unique!! If so, why not join us for this three day adventure to Wales for the annual Bog Snorkelling championships? What a weekend this proposes to be. Staying in a wonderful stone cottage in Llanwrytd Wells and entering the World Bog Snorkelling championships plus we will visit three other local and wonderful swimming spots over the weekend. Friday - Arrive at the accommodation in the afternoon and then go for the first of our three swims following by a Fish and Chip supper. Saturday - Two swims in the local area. Sunday - Catch the minibus to the Bog snorkelling field and enjoy the most wonderfully whacky day out. Monday - Travel home. 3 spaces available What's included: 3 nights accommodation - Room 1 (2 single beds), Room 2 (1 single bed) Fish and chip supper one evening Tea, coffee and squash Toast and Jam breakfast each morning What's not included: Travel to/from the location Entry into the event - @£20 Any further meals/drinks required REQUIREMENTS: It will be cold in the water so you must be able to swim and feel comfortable with the idea of swimming outdoors. Aged 16+. DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY TRAVEL TO/FROM ACCOMODATION, EVENT ENTRY FEE. Prices are per person and an itinerary with full details will be emailed within a week of booking.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION OF TRIPS BY THE CLIENT All cancellations by the client must be via email to emma@swimories.co.uk. If you are cancelling within 3 days of the start of your booking, please also call 07768735956. Once notified of the cancellation, Swimories will try to resell the day/event place(s). In the event that Swimories is able to resell the participant place prior to the commencement date, the client will receive a full refund. In the event that Swimories is unable to resell the day/event place(s) prior to the course commencement date the client will be charged the following cancellation fees: 0-3 days - no refund will be given. 4-7days or you may choose to reschedule or get a 50% refund minus a £10 admin fee. 8 days or more, you can choose to try to reschedule or get a full refund minus a £10 admin fee per booking. It may be possible to transfer places to client sought replacements unless there is a waiting list for the event, this is to be discussed with Swimories at the time of cancellation. CANCELLATION OF TRIPS AND COACHING SESSIONS BY SWIMORIES Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that advertised trips/sessions actually run, Swimories will notify the client of cancellation as soon as possible. Trips/sessions will be cancelled if Swimories believes there are reasonable grounds that cancellation is necessary due to lack of participants or dangerous and/or unsuitable conditions for the activity. In the unlikely event that Swimories has to cancel your trip/session, you will be offered either a full refund or another date. In the event of the cancellation of a trip/session, Swimories will not be liable for any travel or accommodation related expenses.
